MCC’s Spring 2025 concert, Jazz and Romance, on May 18th at Odessa High School’s performing arts center was an afternoon of classic jazz love songs! From Round Midnight to I Wish You Love to You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To and more, it was an afternoon filled with sultry tunes to tickle the ears and stir the heart.
In addition to the choral arrangements, the concert featured MCC soloists covering love (and love questioning) songs from Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Johnny Mercer, Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin.
